Vodafone Germany hacked, 2 Millions Bank Accounts Details Compromised By Hackers.

Telecom Giant Vodafone, Suffered a breach in one of its server from Germany, causing more than 2 Millions Bank details of Users being Compromised by Hackers.

Thursday, 12th September 2103, The Multinational Telecom Operator, Vodafone suffered breach in One of its server from Germany, in a recent press release Vodafone confirmed the security Breach.

The data compromised comes from one of the server from Vodafone Germany, through which hackers got access to More than 2 Millions Bank Account details of users. According to a blog post by Vodafone, hackers have access to following Parameters of users from Database, Name, address, date of birth, gender, sort code & account number.
The company said the attack was only possible by Any one who have insider knowledge found hidden deep in Company’s IT, Infrastructure, The Backdoor have been already closed and it is hardly possible to get direct access stolen data to bank Accounts and have warned users for any possible phishing attack or any fake calls asking for Account details.

The case was brought to Cyber Crime Authorities from Germany and, Authorities are in search for a possible suspect found from Initial investigation reports.

The case only concerns Vodafone Germany and Not any other Country, the report from Vodafone said.

The Users affected in Breach have already been contacted by Vodafone and warned for possible Phishing attacks or fake calls to get access to Complete data.
